Term:  Power of Attorney for Property

Power of Attorney for Property—legal written documents in Ontario authorized to designate persons to act as decisionmakers or attorneys. Persons can grant authority to attorneys to manage their property (includes money, investments, etc.). These documents cease to be valid once the grantor (person signing) dies. Powers of attorney for personal care deal with health issues.
