Term:  Joint Ownership

Joint Ownership—this can include rights of survivorship RTS or without RTS rights of survivorship. Property that is jointly owned without RTS may not pass to the surviving joint owner on death if there has been a gratuitous transfer. Joint ownership maybe evidence of legal ownership but not beneficial ownership.
