Term:  Contested Wills

Contested Wills—wills are legal documents and can be contested. Courts review wills to ensure they meet all legal requirements. Anyone with a financial interest in estates can challenge wills by filing a notice of objection to the will. The matter is then brought to court. Neutral Estate Trustees During Litigation ETDL may be appointed to replace you to manage the estate. See ETDL.
