Conflicts of Interest—avoid these at all costs. You may not purchase estate assets without the consent of all beneficiaries or special will terms. Your duty to the estate can’t conflict with your personal interests. You must place the estate’s interest ahead of your own. If potential conflicts of interest exist, decline the job. Judges can remove you from office for conflicts of interest and penalize you with costs. See fiduciary
