The rate of increase in estate disputes is climbing.

If you are like most people, you haven’t anticipated these types of problems. As a result, you won’t develop self-defence strategies.

Sure, you’re ready to object: “My family will never get nasty. They won’t argue over what they are left from my estate.”

Well, every estate lawyer, including myself, can confirm that the really nasty feuds are few and far between.

Disputes involving the estates of the James Browns or Michael Jacksons and the super-rich are what you hear about. Most people think their own money will never be wasted in a legal dispute.

However, that is not the new reality we live in.
