Do Clients Need EstateTherapy™?

Seminars, workshops or webinars offer excellent ways for you to emotionally connect with your audience. That’s my thinking based on re-reading an article by George Hartman in the Investment Executive (November 2010).

Hartman was writing about how seminars are making a comeback. He was reviewing the 3rd edition of Frank Maselli’s recommended book called, Seminars: The Emotional Dynamic-Advanced Presentation Skills for Financial Professionals.

There Is Nothing Like a Live Event

Inviting people to bring a friend is an excellent way of obtaining referrals. True, we may never see large scale seminars again due to the costs.

Years ago, I chaired the Ontario Make-a-Will campaign with province wide seminars. The budget to run 57 live events across the province likely will not be available.

But people need information about wills and estate planning. There is another generation grappling with these issues. The internet does not guarantee clients will find the answers they need.

With this in mind, I am preparing to offer a new series of presentations:
Seminars and Workshops for 2011.

I am currently creating an estate planning workshop called, Protect Your Family Today: Your Easy 3-Step Recipe. It will cover the basics of estate planning.

I have spoken on this topic to groups of 100 to 1,000 across Canada, and on radio and television.  I have designed the presentations to be entertaining and educational.

Learning Needs to Be Fun
